RUN FOR THE HILLS - MAY 22, 2022

Fun For All - Registration is Open!

​Join us on Sunday, May 22, 2022 for the 1st annual 'Run For The Hills' 5K trail race.

Race Fees are $25 and proceeds go directly to maintaining the beautiful Hills for future generations to enjoy.

Start and Finish are at the Main Entrance
10 Memorial Park Drive, Niantic (off of Rt. 161)
Ample parking is available adjacent to the preserve
with overflow at the Town Hall, 108 Pennsylvania Ave., Niantic.

Bring your family and friends to cheer you on and join in the festivities.
Pre-race concessions and treats by the Walsh Waffle Wagon
Post-race festivities including a Silent Auction will be at our sponsor, the Niantic Public House and Brewery in Niantic center.
Bring your family and friends to support the Run For the Hills!

The first 100 registered participants will receive a custom Oswegatchie Hills trail map bandana!
​Prizes awarded to the top three men and women in each category.
Online registration March 1 thru May 19th; after then race fees go up $5.00 and you must register the day of the event.

Schedule:​
  • 10:00am – Registration and Bib Pickup
  • 11:00am – Race Starts
  • 12 Noon – Awards Ceremony
  • After Race – Meet at the Niantic Public House for post race festivities, Silent Auction and fun!
Event Details:
  • This is a chip timed event with 7 age groups
  • ​Prizes awarded to the top three men and women in each category.
  • Register early to get your Hills Trail-Map Bandana
  • Bring your own water bottles - Water and bathroom facilities available
  • Race results will be posted online immediately after the race 
  • Please note - no dogs with runners on the trails

  • Snacks will be provided post-race. A free beer ticket from the Public House will be provided to those finishers who have a valid ID and are at least 21 years old as of race day
