 5th Annual ​Run for the Hills

Come Join the Fun!

This year, the awards ceremony will take place after the race at the nature preserve where you will be able to celebrate with your fellow finishers whilst enjoying some well earned refreshments! The route follows hiking trails within the preserve. You will be expected to negotiate some exposed rocks and roots along the way. Bring your family and friends to cheer you on and join in the festivities!

Proceeds from the race will go directly to maintaining this special place of quiet beauty for future generations to enjoy! 
Not a runner? Hikers are also welcome to participate and enjoy the trails as well.
Race Details:  
  • Race Day Check in opens at 08:00 AM
  • Race starts at 09:00 AM
  • Awards Ceremony at the Nature Preserve 10:30 AM

Parking:
  • There is ample parking adjacent to the preserve, with overflow at East Lyme Town Hall, 108 Pennsylvania Ave., Niantic

Awards:
  • Overall First Place Male and Female! 
  • Top 3 Men and Women in each age group
    • 19 and under
    • 20-29
    • 30-39
    • 40-49
    • 50-59
    • 60-69
    • 70+

​Entry Fee:
  • $25 until August 16th, then $30 (on-line)
  • Day-of cash registration, $35
