The Oswegatchie Hills Nature Preserve is one of the largest swaths of open space along Connecticut's highly developed shoreline! A total of 7 miles of trails and with 3 miles passing through an abandoned pink granite quarry, with blueberry bushes over a high hill and overlooking a picturesque pond where turtles bask in the sun on top of granite boulders. Just spectacular!

The main entrance is via Memorial Park Drive off of Rte 161, with ample parking adjacent to the ballfields - Trail Guides available at the kiosk.
